In line with the ‘IT Valley’ aspect of Pangyo, there are cutting-edge digital systems implemented throughout the store. Things like advertising material and name tags been made digital and, of course, the store sign and internal walls have been implemented with transparent OLED displays, which emphasize the visual effect. In particular, the ‘Happy Station’, which offers contact-free unmanned payment and pickup services, has taken customer comfort to the next level.

We can see that regional identity has also been melded into product branding. The Pangyo Hogam Sandwich Cookie represents Pangyo with walnuts, which are known to improve brain activity and express the creativity and intelligence of Pangyo. Q. What has been the response from customers at Lab of Paris Baguette?
Many people are in awe when they first enter the store. Customers really enjoy being able to find things such as the no-contact pickup box, PaBa Dog bread, and the Hogam Sandwich Cookie, which they can’t find at other Paris Baguette stores. From the time we open until closing time, we get a lot of inquiries about the Hogam Sandwich Cookie. It seems many customers are recommending it to their friends and it’s really becoming popular.

Q. Are there any special services customers can experience here?
Paris Baguette introduced the first OCS on the first floor of our headquarters in Seoul. It’s a self-serve station where customers can get their own coffee directly. It offers both automatic drip and manual drip so people can enjoy coffee just the way they like it.

Q. What are some of the cutting-edge technologies that can be seen at the store?
Our store has an impressive OLED display they displays our signature Hogam Sandwich Cookie. The OLED displays on the walls really to the visual aesthetic inside. Technologies such as the no-contact pickup box and self-order kiosk have also been implemented for an overall more convenient experience.

Q. What are your plans and goals for the future?
Thanks to the efforts from many departments in our company, Lab of Paris Baguette has received a lot of love from customers since the day we opened. We will continue our efforts in creating an environment where customers and employees can laugh together and people will describe Lab of Paris Baguette at ‘tasty’, ‘new’, and ‘fun’.
