SPC Offers Donations to Quake-struck Turkey and Syria

SPC (CEO Hur Young In) announced on February 16 that it would carry out a campaign to help Turkey and Syria, which had been severely hit by the recent earthquake, and donate 100,000 US dollars to the Korean Red Cross to help their recovery.

The latest relief fund donation is conducted in connection with the ‘Happy Share Campaign’, one of the SPC’s representative social contribution programs.

Happy Share Campaign is a campaign in which members participate by making comments, showing support, or sharing the campaign on their social media, etc. on the ‘Turkey∙Syria Support Campaign’ page opened in the ‘Happy Story Sweet Companion’ section of the Happy Point application (hereafter, “Happy App”) operated by Secta9ine, the SPC’s affiliate for an integrated marketing solution, and SPC makes donations on their behalf.

SPC also linked the donation site of the Korean Red Cross within its campaign page so that members can make direct donations.

An SPC official said, “We express deep condolences to the victims of Turkey and Syria who are suffering from the loss of their livelihoods due to the earthquake, and hope that our small contributions will help them recover from the damage as soon as possible.”
