SPC Group Wins Best Korean Establishment in France

Paris Croissant, a subsidiary of SPC Group (Chairman: Hur Young-in), announced on the 14th that it had been selected as the Best Korean Establishment in France at the FKCCI (French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry) General Assembly & French Business Awards 2022.
The FKCCI French Business Awards was held to celebrate businesses that had contributed to the improvement of economic cooperation between Korea and France. At the award ceremony, which was held for the second time following 2019, not only companies that had entered France, but also those that had produced excellent outcomes in startups, entrepreneur, export performance, social responsibility, and partnership categories were awarded.
Paris Croissant, a subsidiary of SPC Group, was selected as the prizewinner with its achievement to launch the French-style bakery, “Paris Baguette,” in the U.S, China, and Southeast Asia, etc. and successfully operate the stores in France recognized.
The winners at the FKCCI French Business Awards are qualified to compete at the CCI France International Awards, which is an international event of the worldwide network of Chambers of Commerce and Industry France International (CCIFI).
“It is all the more meaningful that the global business performance of Paris Baguette was recognized in France, the home of bread,” said an SPC Group official. “Based on the excellent product quality and technological power, SPC Group will further accelerate business promotion in not only France, but across the world.”
Since its entry to Paris of France, the home of bread, in 2014, SPC Group has been leading the trend by introducing the differentiated products and concept of Paris Baguette to French consumers. It opened the new “Saint-Michel” store in downtown Paris in last August, and is planning to open additional stores this year.
