SPC Group Opens Shake Shack Hongdae Location, 18th Store in Korea

SPC Group said on the 17th that it opened Shake Shack’s Hongdae Branch, the 18th location in Korea.
 

The Shake Shack Hongdae store is located on the first floor of LC Tower in front of Hongik University Station in Seoul with a capacity of 115 seats. Many plant pots were placed throughout the store, and a three-dimensional array of seats and a green ceiling at the center give a natural resting atmosphere. In addition, a video called ‘Tasty Play,’ which presents Shake Shack’s icons in various colors and patterns created in collaboration with visual artist Vakki, is screened on the media wall to add a lively atmosphere.

The new store will introduce ‘Bring Shack The Bacon,’ a dessert that combines sweet vanilla custard with mini waffles and bacon, as a signature menu limited only to Hongdae, in addition to the existing signature menus such as ShackBurger, Shack Stack, and SmokeShack.

A Shake Shack official said, “We have opened a new store in Hongdae, a district representing youth culture, to provide a new platform for interacting with our customers. We will promote the taste of Shake Shack and our hospitality culture in more locations throughout Korea.”
