On January 19th, SPC Group announced the official launching of the new marketing solution subsidiary company called Secta9ine.

As a company specializing in digital marketing developed from SPC Group’s many years of accumulated experience in platform business, marketing competency, and ICT business infrastructure, Secta9ine was established through a merger between SPC Networks, an ICT subsidiary, and SPC Cloud, the Group subsidiary responsible for marketing platforms including the Happy Point with over 22 million subscribers.

Under the vision to provide ‘Smart Life Technology’, Secta9ine will accelerate SPC Group’s  digital transformation while leading the Group’s technology-based marketing platform business.

The company’s corporate identity, designed in the shape of an owl, was designed to symbolize wisdom and intelligence. The logo expresses the company’s commitment to creating a smart and convenient lifestyle using the next-generation technologies in big data and artificial intelligence.

The name embodies the company’s plans to create a powerful synergy among its nine business sectors. With four new business areas, including smart factory and ad commerce, on top of existing five areas – membership marketing, mobile commerce, smart store, payment, and IT services – Secta9ine will strive to grow into a total solution provider in digital marketing.

As part of its initiative, Secta9ine will further develop the Happy Point application, mobile commerce services, as well as strengthen its fintech business by launching a payment solution called Happy Pay. The company will also diversify its business portfolio by launching a marketing platform using the big data infrastructure along with an augmented reality-based marketing app, establishing a smart factory solution to enhance the level of quality management, and expanding the scope of its digital advertising business.

Secta9nine will also embark on creating a young and entrepreneurial culture by actively encouraging employees to discover and examine new business items, and assign roles and authority based on competence to establish a lateral communication culture.
